What is your return policy?
What is your return policy?
You may cancel an order if you are able to communicate the cancellation to us before the products in the order have been put into production (typically within 24 hours).
The best way to reach us is via support@theclssicprints.com
If your order is already in production (meaning we've cut the materials and have begun or completed assembly) , we can refund you 70% of your order total.
This covers the materials and labor we've spent which are difficult to restock due to the nature of each print and frame. For the same reason, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds when we ship your frames and they arrive as ordered and without any visible defects.
If you haven't placed an order yet but are still unsure about our policies, check out our Happiness Guarantee or the full FAQ section that covers this all in more depth.
"Mack (co-founder of Classic Prints) brought some prints over to me and we looked at their print quality. We used loupes (special magnifying tools I used while running a print shop in Phoenix for decades) and I was thoroughly impressed by the print quality. These classic art pieces are the real deal."

The Lore
The Roses of Heliogabalus, Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1888)
The roses of Heliogabalus is a classic depiction of Roman decadence, a subject that was popular in the Victorian era.
Heliogabalus became Roman emperor at 14 years old (from 218 to 222 AD). He came from a prominent Arab family and was notorious for scandals and religious controversy during his short reign.
The illustrated scene is an episode of his life taken from the book Augusta Historia:
“In a banqueting-room with a reversible ceiling he once buried his guests in violets and other flowers, so that some were actually smothered to death, being unable to crawl out to the top.”
